There will be live music from local bands and choirs, inflatables, face paints, glitter tattoos, raffles, a bar, and much more. The fun run starting at 10am, and walk at 10.30am, will start at Tiverton Canal Basin and end at Sampford Peverell Playing Fields, where a festival of fun awaits. This year, the organisers are determined to make it the best one yet, with a host of entertainment, games, prizes, and surprises for participants and spectators alike. The GWC10K, organised and sponsored by local advertising and marketing agency Adopstar, has been a beloved family event for three decades, raising thousands of pounds for Young Lives VS Cancer, the UK's leading children's cancer charity. But that's exactly what you can do on 16 July, when the 30th and final edition of the GWC10K fun run takes place in Tiverton. It's not every day that you get to run or walk along a scenic canal, enjoy a carnival atmosphere, meet your favourite cartoon characters, and support a vital charity that helps young people fight cancer.
